Too much spam

I have recently been inundated with spam comments from anonymous writers so I've changed my settings so that you have to be a registered user.  I'm not honestly sure what that means. I hope it doesn't keep out the real commenters from leaving comments.  

It will eliminate the anonymous comments, though. I'm sorry if this is a problem for anyone.  I just wanted to try to see if this will eliminate the spam.

I have some fabulous pictures to share of the Bouquets to Arts at the DeYoung Museum from last week that I will post later today.

Nana Day again!!

The weather in California never ceases to amaze me. I had Ryan and Emma today and was able to bring them to my house to stay overnight. We had to go to the park and I thought Emma might be able to sit in the swing even though she's not sitting up yet. Here the two of them are having a great time at the park in the California sunshine!!

Another beautiful tree

This is another of my favorite trees in front of our house! Can you see the little pink buds? My tulips are blooming as well but not worthy of a picture!!

I am "label challenged"!! and a GIVEAWAY!!

I think labels are a great idea for the back of a quilt.  I've known some quilters who do the most amazing labels.  Me?  I do the most basic thing because I struggle with how to do it.

So, here's a challenge for you:
Send me pictures of labels you like, whether you made them or not.  I'll try to post pictures of them this week.
I'll pick a winner or two and send you out a FQ or two!! Let's do this by Thursday, okay??

I'm looking for some great ideas and suggestions.

I'm lucky enough to live in California where we have been enjoying 70* days, allowing me to hang my sheets on the line to dry!
