I put the last quadrant (Lori's strategy) together on my Just Takes Forever quilt. It really did take forever and was a huge challenge but worth it! Now just to add the borders and drop it at the quilter's!!
What a great feeling to finish something I was working on for all of 2012!!
Anybody else finish something recently??
Oh Randy, your quilt is beautiful! And great colors for Christmas too!
ReplyDeleteit's gorgeous...and thanks for the inspiration....i'm spending the week after christmas on this project, so we'll see how far i get..
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteJust stunning!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWorth the "pain" ... absolutely lovely! Linda
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You set a goal and completed the quilt top. Who doesn't love a red and white quilt!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! We should do a blue and white one this year! NOT!! lol
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a wonderful finish! I only got the first twenty or so blocks done in green and white and was aftaid it was starting to look too busy. Then it fell by the wayside. I think one of my goals for 2013 will have to be to put those blocks to use in a smaller project and not let them become another UFO!
ReplyDeleteIts a great feeling to have this one done, isn't it. are you going with one of the suggested borders or something else. Will you get it custom quilted or an all over design, do you think
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Randy, I love red and white. I finished quite a few quilts in 2012 and raring to go in 2013. Love to you and your family during this Holiday Season. Can't wait for retreat.
