When I was in Wisconsin last month, my friends put quilts on our beds. I loved the one on mine and decided to make something like it - goes really fast!
I still need sashing and cornerstones but the strips are all 2-1/2" so the blocks go together very easily! You can see how nice the original quilt is!
Oh Randy, your blocks are turning out great. I'm so glad you liked my quilt enough to make one for yourself. Next time I'll bring a different one for you to use. That way you can make that one too. LOL! I will try to keep you busy!
I like it! I love quilts that look like they have been around a long time and are well loved. You have a great start on a well loved quilt!
ReplyDeleteHomey Quilt to sleep under at your friends house. Fun and Quick too. Especially if you have a 2.5" strip stash drawer.
ReplyDeleteReally cute, I might have to put that on my "to do" list!
ReplyDeleteYour blocks look really pretty. The quilt on the bed is so cozy looking. I like the pretty toes too. LOL
ReplyDeleteOooo, what a beauty! Simple is so often the best, isn't it? I think I need to pin this one!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I love it, too!! Yours will be just as beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! It looks like it has lots of quilting too.....is it quilted by hand?
ReplyDeleteNice project :0)
Happy Sewing

ReplyDeleteGreat blocks! Are you going with Pat's color for sashing? Meh....not loving that color.
