I had lunch with my friend Will last week and had the chance to see the quilts she's recently made since our last visit. She is so inspiring, not to mention that she's one of the sweetest women I've been lucky enough to come to know!
I hope you enjoy this little quilt show!
What wonderful scrap creations, Randy!! Looks like someone I would love to know. : )

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! I just can't believe the amount of quilts she's made. She sure did have a LOT of fun with her sewing machine LOL. And they are all beautiful. Do you know the name of the block in picture 3? Love it, love them all. Congrats Will. Thanks for sharing Randy.
ReplyDeleteOh, they are all fantastic! That pineapple makes me swoon. And those tiny baskets are on my 'want to do' list. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow! She really goes to town with her quilting! Very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHello Randy and fellow quilters,
ReplyDeletei'm sitting here and read all your lovely comments. How nice to spend those quiet moments with Randy and i see you have some questions: the block in quilt no 3 is called temple court, from Judy Hopkins' book AROUND THE BLOCK AGAIN, incredibly useful for machine pieced blocks. I only handquilt, i have very little experience in machine quilting.Depending my mood i can make a quick top on the machine in only a couple of days or handpiece during a very long time. My taste is morely the 1820 - 1910 period and buy repro fabrics mostly. Also use antique fabrics. Your compliments go straight to my heart, have good holidays and hope to see you on my blog every now and then. Love from Will in Paris
Hello Will,
DeleteThank you so much for the reply. I will look up that block Temple Court. I love it. Et vous avez une nouvelle amie a votre blog; moi. (I am your new follower on your blog.) Thank you so much Randy for introducing your friend to us.
Happy Holidays.
Oh wow - what a bunch of awesome quilts! Her taste is right up my alley. I just love them all - could never pick a favorite - but pineapple quilts always catch my eye. And I've never met a basket quilt that I didn't love!
ReplyDeleteFantastic quilts and love Wills ability to recycle fabric.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of the last quilt and where did it come from? I love the looks of that quilt.
