I know you are anxiously awaiting the first Wednesday in May for the first Sow-A-Long of May... TWO more days.
Until then, let me share a picture from the weekend we spent with the darling grandson. He calls me Nana and I've gotta say it's the most beautiful sound to hear that little boy calling, "Nana, Nana, Nana", even at the butt-crack-of-dawn.
Note that Max's head is about 4 times the size of Ryan's foot. :-)
Have a great Monday!
Love to you all,
Randy
I love the sound of Grandma too. I used to put my kids on the counter to 'help' me cook. How fun for you to have darling boy over.
ReplyDeleteI have 2 grandsons, a bit older than Ryan. When they are with me, every sentence starts with OH GRANDMA....Since they never stop talking I hear OH GRANDMA a thousand times a day, never get tired of it.
ReplyDeleteMy feelings are the same. Our granddaughter is old enough to call to me, and I love that voice, asking for my attention. Our grandson is a wee little tyke, not talking yet, but I'll love hearing him call for me too, when he's old enough. We have a bit of a wait till they're back in the US, but till then, bless Skype! We're not strangers to them.
ReplyDeleteOur children calling to us didn't set our hearts aflutter. But the grandkids--now that's a whole new ballgame, and I love it!
18 MORE DAYS until I get to visit my little granddaughter.....I haven't hugged her since Thanksgiving but do get to see her on the video :0)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've got your own Tony the tiger helping you in the kitchen!
I know you are loving every minute... is he your only grandchild?
Happy Sewing Nana
all I keep thinking when i look at your GS is tiger, tiger, tiger, tiger..bouncy bouncy boune on tigers tale. Those strips are the best...and I see that everyone is at the kitchen counter.....waiting...LOL
ReplyDeleteReally looks like Nana has the best of both worlds thanks so much for sharing...bouncy bouncy bounce
Yikes, two more days. I've got a few more blocks to make in Christmas fabrics first. What was I thinking making two sets?
