Here is my block, which is similar to the sample. Oh well. I like red/white/blue together!!
When I stopped in at Quiltworks last week, I snagged two Quiltmania issues that were on sale!!
I am very tempted to make the cover quilt with the yellow sashing! I don't think I've ever used that color like that.
Tomorrow will be the bullseye instructions!! Check back!!
👍
I am doing westering women and just made the first block this weekend. I am using red, black and gold. I am enjoying the history too.
ReplyDeleteLovely block Randy and i'm in too ! ;)
ReplyDeleteNice block...I Am doing it as well!
ReplyDeleteYes! I'm Westering Women and will post my block soon.
ReplyDeleteYes, in fact I made my block over the weekend and then realized that I used a "neon" for my corner block which of course was popular nearly 20 years after the westward movement! So... on to a different block with more appropriate fabrics! Love yours. I love that gold too.
ReplyDeleteNo, but I'm waiting to cut up my bullseye. Love your Blog....
ReplyDeleteI'm doing both Circa 2016 and Westering Women :)
ReplyDeleteThat quilt with the yellow sashing is gorgeous, Randy! Don't you need another project? *LOL*
ReplyDeleteDidn't know about Westering Women ... will have to try and find the blog or link to it ... looks like something I would like. Am REALLY trying to resist the Circa 2016 ... I tell myself if I am going to do it better to start sooner than later and having to play catch up. LOVE quilt magazines from Australia and the UK ... always try and snag when on sale. LOVE the yellow sashing on that cover quilt ... that is a beauty and I can see that on a summer bed ..... Linda
