Signs of spring

I was recently going to get my grandkids and had a few extra hours so I stopped in at a beautiful garden I belong to, Filoli, and took some wonderful pictures of the gorgeous flowers (and peacock).  I almost missed the tulips.  I think the colors are so inspiring!

They also had a display of arrangements made by students in their program.  I was totally overwhelmed with the job these students did.

  3. Beautiful flowers, but that last photo--oh, love those two colors together. The purple columbine is wonderful.

  5. Thanks--I needed to see some beautiful flowers! WE still have some snow on the ground and lots of brown--no green yet.

  7. Stunning garden spot. My own arrangements are very haphazard--but those are beautiful...hugs, Julierose

  8. What an incredible garden! I would have spent HOURS just staring at those arrangements and ... to be perfectly honest ... the wisteria blew me away. I absolutely LOVE it but we're took cold in Northern Michigan for it to survive. I always enjoy seeing it or pictures of it. Thanks for sharing! Linda

  10. What an amazing garden. I love the wisteria, of course. Wish my wisteria plant in our north corner was white like the label stated. Instead it's purple, like the one by our entry. At least it is alive. . .

  11. Beautiful pix of flowers! We did not get to Filoli this year but we went to the Lily mansion in Indy and the gardens really reminded me of Filoli!
