When we returned today to the V&A Museum, I saw a few quilt patterns on the floor again. I also snapped a picture of a sculpture of a woman with a shawl having a great quilt pattern in the border. Imagine, not sewing a pattern, but carving it out of marble!!!
There really is inspiration everywhere if you are looking for it.
ReplyDeleteLook at all the "underfoot" blocks you could make. : )
ReplyDeleteOh my it is all so beautiful, but that second floor nearly made me swoon.
ReplyDeleteThe inspiration surrounds us. That gold/blue floor is going to stay in my mind for a long, long time. It's elegant and gorgeous! Hmm--it wouldn't be that hard to draft for paper piecing, would it?
