You know you're in Wisconsin if...

I'm back with my sewing peeps in Wisconsin for a fun filled sewing retreat!  I already started working on  finishing up my Under the Big Top blocks while chatting away with Debbie, hostess with the mostest!

Next step is sewing these half square triangles to make the last border:

This is Debbie's super organized sewing space:

She has the most amazing concoction that works as an iron too!

She also does the most gorgeous appliqué work:

The rest of the gang starts arriving later this morning.

This is my treat  for dinner:
And of course no dinner is complete without a Spotted Cow!!

New labels??!!

More to follow this week!

  2. Oh how I love those "under the Big Top" blocks! Yum!! Looks like you are having tons of fun. I thought you were going to say that that overhead bag was full of wine, but then it looks like it should have been beer! Have fun and stitch, stitch, stitch!

  3. You have me really curious about that overhead bag. Is the iron on a saline solution? : )

  5. Have a wonderful, fun time with your quilting buds. Curious for more information on the "hanging" bag for the iron ... would be perfect for a large retreat when irons are used often and heavily. Details shared perhaps?? Oh yes ... corn, watermelon and tomatoes are sometimes a dinner at our house ... especially in summer ... PERFECT Midwestern fare!! Feel free to share pictures ... it's like we get to be there! LOL Linda
