Janet O has received my package containing my interpretation of our 12" quilt swap.
Looks legit, right? Well that's only part of it...
There are at least two other sides;
Voila!!! It's a BAG!!! I was really worried that Janet would be sorely disappointed in not having received something else to hang on the wall or add to her mini-collection. Obviously it didn't deter me from making a bag instead! HEHEHE.
I've made several of these bags. It's a pattern by Quilts Illustrated. This one is called "Garden Party" (ps028). It was designed by Penny Sturges.
Anyway, another swap is wrapped up. Great fun; very challenging! Made with lots of love!!
Oh just a lovely bag--beautiful log cabin blocks...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteOh my word! Those logs are tiny! And what a great idea. I should think Janet would be running out of wall room by now and this is the perfect solution. Beautiful! Good job!
ReplyDeleteHow unique and clever.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't mention that Janet (that would be me) is over the moon about it!! A beautiful, roomy, made-from-gorgeous-fabric bag arrived at my house on Monday and I haven't stopped smiling about it! I have already used it on my day in town yesterday. I get to stay home today, so maybe I can actually blog about it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Randy, for a magnificent swap!!
That is very sweet!

ReplyDeleteChennai BizBook The great thing about local business directories is that it compiles essential numbers into one comprehensive business phone number resource book. For years, people were psyched into consulting the business directories when they failed to remember the office number of a company or the flower delivery shop. As living evidence to the pervasiveness and widespread usefulness of business directories is the popularity of the brand name Yellow Pages.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful bag! Janet is certainly a lucky gal.
ReplyDeleteYou two obviously had a great time with this swap! The bag is perfect, as is the little quilt Janet made for you. Fun times!
