EGAD.
I was looking at the pictures I posted of a few close ups of some blocks and realized you can really see how WONKY my seams are...
Please don't look too closely or judge me for not sewing straight lines!!
Even when I was in 10th grade and took home ec, I remember being berated for not being able to sew straight seams. Some things never change!!
UGH!!!
;-))
Oh Randy, I would never be judgmental I cannot sew all that straight or do triangles either...this is supposed to be fun and freeing--lol

Straight seams are overrated!! Just tell people that you practice improvisational piecing techniques.
ReplyDeleteWonky is in! At least that's what I keep telling myself, lol!
ReplyDeleteIts your quilt! Who cares, really?!
ReplyDeleteLike!!!
DeleteStraight seams are a sign of an obsessive mind! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat is this thing you speak of..."straight line?" Giggle!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Randy ! No one is perfect in this world ! Me too at first !
ReplyDeleteAnd we loooove your work ! :))
I think that the "wonky" is part of the charm of this quilt! All those tiny pieces in those small blocks...simply wonderful!
ReplyDeleteActually, I think straight lines are harder to do than curved. Have you tried marking them with a hera marker? It really helps.
