Here are instructions for a very scrappy star:
Lights: cut (6) 2" squares
cut (4) 2-1/2 squares (for hsts...can use other methods)
Darks: cut (2) 2" squares
cut (4) 2-1/2 squares (for hsts...)

A great star, Randy! I love the blocks, but I am starting to drown in them! It is my own fault for having to do two sets. Last night I just got the Christmas set cut out from the last installment, and both the plaid and Christmas for the recent bonus block. Now you unveil another bonus block! Yikes! I need to either get less sleep and more sowing, or possibly forsake the Christmas blocks until a later date (like Dec. 15th). But I will not give up on my plaids! : )

I'm not doing the sow along, but I'm really liking this scrappy star! I think it would look great done in a quilt with alternating chain blocks.
