Since Wahl is known for making clippers, I am thinking maybe some sort of seam ripper, it kind of clips the thread. First I thought a device to shave the fuzz balls off of fabric that you sometimes get, but decided that didn't make much sense. LOL
I dunno. I just know it's related to the hair clippers company we used to use. My husband would cut any male relative's hair who sat still long enough. If they sat, he trimmed. This isn't a dispenser, is it? Like a tape dispenser? That wouldn't make sense. It's not big enough to hold a supply of anything. I give up.
Probably a cutting mat shaver so you can have a smooth surface again. I've never used one but think it's a good gadget to own.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it's originally a beard trimmer, but is used to CAREFULLY unpick seams. Just my guess!
ReplyDeleteIs it used to make chenille on quilts?
ReplyDeleteI think it's some sort of shaver.
ReplyDeleteI think I have absolutely no idea! : )
ReplyDeleteWahl is the brand name of the clippers my husband uses to give himself a buzz haircut! Is it for "unsewing" embroideries?

ReplyDeleteshaver to replace a seam ripper? Shaves part of the stiches off and then you don't have to pick out each stitch?
ReplyDeleteMaybe?
no clue! my guess would be maybe to keep the rotary cutting mat nice and smooth?
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

I give up.
It looks like a pet touch up trimmer.
ReplyDeleteI got to try one out last weekend so it wouldn't be fair of me to say, would it? I need one.
ReplyDeleteI think it's used to trim the fuzzy bits from your cutting mat to make it nice and smooth again.
ReplyDeletethe quickest un-sewer available. Saw demonstration at market .
ReplyDeleteI know Wahl is famous for hair clippers! And I heard this is the newest way to "unsew" when you've made a mistake.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was electric scissors....
ReplyDeleteI love how it will unsew a seam that is long. :)
ReplyDeleteIt also takes out embroidery mistakes.
SEAM RIPPER and I absolutely LOVE MINE ! ! ! ! The only problem is everyone at my quilting guild thinks I am shaving, hahahahaha.....
