I'm probably the last person to get it done!! It was waiting for the binding for a long time.
I'm happy to say it is finally done and I am happy with the finished product.
It's enough to make me want to sew!!
Which leads me to the 2016 project I'm hoping you'll want to join in on!!
It's super super easy and very cozy.
I'm going to give the instructions starting next Monday and it'll be every two weeks for 4 installments. Are you interested!!!
Let me know! You won't want to miss out!! No points to match! Use up a lot of scraps!! Have a finished quilt in a short time!!
Oh how you tempt me! If I wasn't already doing 3 online right now.... But, on the other hand I do need a new idea for our veterans' quilts and if I made this in red, white and blue..... O.k. I'm in! It looks like it involves machine applique and I really need to improve in that area so I will give it a try. I love your "divorced" Farmer's Wife too!
ReplyDeleteMy Divorced Farmer's Wife is still a flimsy, Randy. Is yours quilted in an all-over pattern? It looks great, and makes me want to get mine finished.
ReplyDeleteNo SALs for me this year. I am going to be strict with myself to get some things finished. If I had more sewing time, I'd join in, but it is really limited right now and I have so much to finish.
Sounds fun.
ReplyDeleteYour sampler quilt looks stupendous!!
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't, but it is oh so tempting! I might have to give in to the temptation. lol
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add that your divorced farmer's wife quilt is beautiful!
DeleteI have already made this one, but will look on and drool at all your lovely creations!!!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to make a bulls eye, so why not now? I've got millions of other things to be working on, but I plan to squeeze this in, too.
ReplyDeleteYour sampler quilt is gorgeous!
I've always loved the bullseye quilt having made one when the book first came out a bazillion years ago! Our church group did one a couple of years ago and I made a few blocks for that. Not sure I can join the sew along, however, as I'm heading out of town soon. But we'll see. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteYour Farmer's wife is stunning ! Congratulations Randy !
ReplyDeleteToo busy at this moment, your project is beautiful but a little bit big for me ! I will admire your progress on your blog !
Happy new year Randy !
Your Farmers Wife quilt is lovely! I really don't need another project but the bullseye one is very tempting - and I don't have a machine one on the go at present .........
ReplyDeleteI started one a couple years ago when you showed yours, but haven't finished it. I will join in to get mine finished.
ReplyDeleteDivorced farmer's wife? The quilt is absolutely beautiful
ReplyDeletei agree..stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Randy! You're not the last, my Phone Guy's Wife blocks are sashed but not assembled. I'm hoping to finish it this year. Your finish is incentive.
ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago, I made a Bulls Eye quilt. Easy, easy. I won't be joining in but will enjoy viewing quilts that others make.
ReplyDeleteBulls-eyes are fun and easy -- I've done several! I have another one on my 2016 To-Do list, and work on it during your sew-along.
ReplyDeleteYour sampler quilt is wonderful!
BEAUTIFUL job on the Divorced Wife's Quilt, Randy ... well done you!! ABSOLUTELY interested in the Bulls Eye quilt ... I have long admired that pattern and love your sew-alongs. Count me in! Linda
ReplyDeleteFYI - you are NOT the last one to finish - my blocks are all finished...sitting in a pile!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to join in on the bullseye quilt!
