A day with the darling grandson

Good morning bloggers! Have you found a way to move your bodies for 30 minutes today? How about skipping the blogs for a day and walking instead?? VBG.

I am off to pick up my grandson this afternoon and we always go for a long walk---pushing him in the stroller adds to the workout, too!

I want to hear about your walk!! Oh and sewing projects are good, too!
Have a great Thursday!

  1. I don't usually walk Thursday mornings, but I remembered my commitment to you. Instead of my usually 3+ miles, I made it a 2-miler, so there was still time for my other morning commitments. It was still pleasantly cool at 7:15 (later than I usually go) when I struck out on the road (no sidewalks out here) and I encountered several other walking friends--including my husband's aunt's 92 year-old sister who is visiting for a couple of weeks and still walks every day!

  2. Not today. Had a bit of an accident yesterday and I am not mobile today.
    Your GS is totally adorable.

  3. Since I got a dog I've been walking every day- she's eight months old now. I feel so guilty if we don't go out and I hate disappointing her, she enjoys it so much. I had no idea that a dog would be such a good motivation for exercise!
I envy you being near your grandson, I've only seen mine a couple of times (they live thousands of miles away) and it makes me sad.

  4. I did it! I walked for 30 minutes each day this week so far. I love it and wish I did it more. The heat is kinda coming on here so early morning it is. Randy, I lost the email with your "dates" for travel near Chico. Can you email me again? I would love if you came on over, but I know it's 20 miles out of the way...you can go swimming in our pool and we could take a walk :)) Pam

  5. What a darling little boy! Someday I'll have a grandchild, some day... I "walked" on the elliptical at the gym for 45 minutes today, rode the bike for 15 minutes, and did weights for 15 minutes. Not too bad for an old fat lady!

  6. Randy, you are too much. No, I didn't get my walk in today. I had to clean up my office and get everything back in order for sewers tomorrow. Tomorrow I will walk and I will think of you as I'm walking. My dogs will love you also. No really, we walk 5 days a week. They need it as much as I do. Hugs!

  7. We are staying at a RV park in Iron River, MI and there is a wonderful trail that goes right by the park, so I have been walking on it every morning! It is great!
