Quilt show pictures, part I

I recently went to the best quilt show I've seen in a while. I took loads of pictures which I've been wanting to blog-- been babysitting the darlings a lot so haven't had a chance u til now. Here are some of my favorites!!

I'm think the most impressive part of the show was the absolutely incredible machine quilting throughout :

Downton Abbey costumes

When we were in Philadelphia our friends took us to the Winterthur Museum in estate-like grounds. We went to see the Downton Abbey costumes on display and were pleasantly surprised by another exhibit!!
