I've been TABBED!!!

Guess who is now tabbed??? ME!!
Thank you Janet (roguequilter) for walking me through the process necessary to add a tab to my blog and for helping me put the links for each post.  You will now be able to go back and see the instructions for all the Sow-A-Long blog posts.  I've even added the picture which has all the blocks, save for the latest Birds in the Air.  THANKS JANET!! Linky-thing is still coming one of these days.

Oh, and I was a naughty girl...went onto ebay last week, still playing around looking for another Bernina and just happened over to the antique quilt blocks and bought absolutely gorgeous album blocks in red/white.

My plan is to put them on point with plain muslin. Aren't they fabulous?? Of course I needed another project, right??

Hope everyone is having a great week! I'll be quiet this weekend: we are babysitting! WOOHOO!!

Love to you all,
Randy

  1. Way to go Janet! It took me a while to figure out tabs too. Sew Many Ways has a lot of handy tips for blogging stuff that has helped me out a lot. Of course, great blogging friends like Janet help more than anything :*)

Oh, those are beautiful blocks--I used to haunt ebay for vintage blocks. Don't get me started again, please!! I still have a few sets that have just been sitting for years. : )
I'm going to go "sow" my Barrister's Sow-Along blocks now!

  8. Thank you so much for the tab. I've finished 1 block on my quilt but I know I'll be depending on your site for most of the others.

  10. Thank you for adding the tabs. I haven't started your Sow-Along and wondering if I'd be able to find all the instructions. I've got a couple of things to finish up first before starting another project. Thanks again.

  13. Hi Randy
Thanks for the blocks - I am loving this. Is there an easier way to do quarter square triangles? I vaguely remember doing them in a square, sewing and cutting...
I cannot get my bonus block to have the double pinwheel. Somehow I have reversed the colourway and it looks funny. I have the main pinwheel but not the secondary one.
    Thanks
    Deb

  19. I think they're called Pages but what the heck, I am glad you are Tabbed! Love the quilt blocks. I have never had too much success with old blocks or quilt tops, seems like I get ones that look great from the front in pictures but upon arrival are so threadbare, or have a scant 1/8 seam. Yours look great!

  20. A few years ago I spent way too many hours haunting the "vintage quilts" category of E-bay. I bought a few, some OK ones, one total disaster, and not a single one as striking as your red and white blocks. They look like a fun project to work on. And yes, we always need another project. Because we know our time is valuable, the projects we decide to add to our lists are usually special or important or unique ones. Hopefully we can always make time for those.
