Let the fun begin

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first group coming to sew for the week! DarLynn and Debbie are flying in from the Midwest!! I'm so excited to see them!!!
By the way, how come only one person noticed that I forgot to post Sow-a-Long blocks on Wednesday??--- fear not: the blocks will be posted this weekend!
Pictures to follow! Have a great weekend.
Love to you all
Randy

  4. I wish I could be a fly on your wall this week I thought of you and wondered how close I was to where you are when I passed though sisters. I know a week too early. I was an hour too late to see the Stitchin Post too.
Do they fly into Portland or Redmond? That was a long ride for me yesterday.

  5. I figured it was a holiday and you are entitled to time off. However, I was sad because I'm finally caught up!! Thank you so much for all your hard work.

  7. I have been camping this week, but I noticed when I got home today. However, I didn't want to be nagging. I figured you had your reasons, with all you had going on to get ready for the Sister's show.

  8. Well I noticed and kept looking thinking I had missed an announcement of a holiday. BTW: When I try to look at the last two "Sow" postings, they won't open for me???? I have to backtrack to the original postings? I am really developing a beautiful stack of FW squares. If my design board wasn't so full I'd send pictures. Have fun sewing with friends.♥♥♥

  9. Hi...I'm "Better late than Never" because I've been following your blocks and Bonnie's for several months. June 15th I decided to jump in! I'm going to send a photo as soon as I'm caught up. So, while I've been checking for a new post, I've actually been "a little" glad it was delayed. I know nagging my son never helps, so Iike the rest, I just kept mum. Thanks so much for doing this Sow-Along. I love being part of this wonderful bigger group of creative women.

  12. I think it's because I haven't done the last group of blocks. Being late gives me a little extra time to catch up.

  16. I did look but wasn't expecting them because it was a holiday. You are so wonderful for posting the blocks but I do think you deserve a day off now and them. Enjoy the show!

  18. I would love to joine your sew along if it's not too late. If it's not, where do I find the patterns to get going. Thanks!

  19. Can't wait to see the new blocks! I thought you were busy at Sister's or perhaps your site was having a problem. Meanwhile I was looking at my FW book and additional books I have with 6 inch finished blocks and started to make some spreadsheets. I am making one with template piece sizes that corresponds with pieces we have used in our blocks and FW book, tips and techniques. Actually, I prefer your sizes and techniques (oversizing, trimming etc.) compared to books I have with those pieces. Another sheet is a list of all the FW blocks (corresponding to their # in book) and then all the extra blocks not in the FW book we have done along with date I finished making them and other block resource info. Our quilt will be a great mix of blocks. As we do more, I will just keep filling in the spreadsheets. Have fun on your trip. Can't wait to see pictures. Amy in Wisconsin
