Library surprises

When I went to the local public library (I'm a big supporter of local libraries, as in REAL books!!), I was so pleasantly surprised to see an exhibit of paintings that depicted quilt patterns.  I thought you'd enjoy seeing them.  They were all for sale, too, but I'm not buying any!

Here is the description of the artist.

    1. There's something about holding a real book that just can't be replicated with a Kindle.

  9. LOVE libraries and REAL books ... like the "feel" of the book's weight and turning the pages. At my library minimum of once a week! We are building a new one in my area ... worked towards the building fund by donating older books and plant sales. LOVED these paintings ... what I found most interesting in her biography is that she doesn't use any tape when creating ... Quite remarkable work and the spectrum of color was beautiful! Thanks for sharing ;-) Linda
