Another small quilt

I spent all last weekend with the darling grandson who stayed with us all weekend. What a joy!! We loved every minute, even though I'm not a fan of getting up at 5 am!! Downside, if there is one, is that I got no sewing done.

Since then, this week I cleaned up a bit and worked on machine quilting a top I've had for a while. It's a small quilt I put together from blocks I did in a group project some years ago, which got put away.  Anyway, I just have to put on the binding:

I'm still salivating over the time we spent in Paris. I am happy to share a picture of a typical bakery where we purchased our baguettes each morning.

How do you resist those breads? Forget about the sweets, though.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! What are you working on? I'm getting ready for Bonnie's mystery. Anybody else going to tackle it? I'm sure it'll be awesome!

  1. How small is your "small" quilt? It is a great looking sampler. I love the colors you have chosen for setting squares and triangles.
I don't think Bonnie would allow me on board for the mystery. No whining and lots of small pieces--she suggested I just print out the instructions for later. : )
I could live in a bakery. Oh, that all looks so delectable!
I'm trying to finish up a top for a Christmas gift and get it to my LAQ tomorrow. Can't post it because the recipient reads my blog.

  3. I'm thinking about Bonnie's mystery quilt - not that I need another project or anything! The little quilt is darling and I do understand about little grandchildren. I miss mine so much, but I do get a lot more sewing done. When we were with our 2 little grandsons, I couldn't do anything but keep an eye on them! It is so much fun, though.
