Plugging along

Because we were babysitting until Sunday night, I'm only now getting a chance to sit down at my machine.

Put my rows together!!

And then did blocks 11, 12 and 13. Started having fun with the blocks!!

Will do more sewing tomorrow when Claire comes over.

Someone commented that the machine I thought was a 401 isn't. Any thoughts?? It doesn't look like my other 301s.

  1. I think your machine is a 403A. Lovely machine, and your blocks are nice, too.

I know nothing about Singers, other than featherweights.

  3. Lovely blocks Randy and I really loooove the fabrics you used !
Don't you have a number on the little iron plate ? With it you can discover the "name" of your machine.

  4. Randy, your blocks are looking wonderful. Your machine is definitely a 301 or 301a. Try doing a search online and you will notice a big difference between a 301 and a 401.

  6. Love, love, love that little sampler! And if you want to know anything about Singers, ask Cyndi at Busy Thimble, her knowledge of old machines (and new) is amazing.
