Stars in a Time Warp truly done

I got the borders put on for the Stars in a Time Warp. I just love how it turned out.

I was planning to use the red for binding but came up short when I cut the strips. How would the blue look instead??

I wanted to show you these clothes I spotted last week at a fairly nice shop in San Jose. I didn't look at the prices but can imagine they're expensive!  Quilt patterns are everywhere!

I don't think I'd wear any of these but I thought it was cool that quilt patterns are the basis for clothing!!

  5. Love the "Stars". Did you see that Barbara posted it on her blog? I think the blue will be a great binding. And as for the clothes, I guess we really could make a statement now!

  6. Wow--Love it, Randy! Cool that Barbara posted it, too! I also think the blue would do well as the binding.
Maybe those clothes could be the uniform for a quilt retreat! *LOL*

  8. Blue would be absolutely fine as binding on the quilt. Your layout is lovely. What a great feeling to have it finished, I'm sure. And for Barbara to include it in her post, that's pretty cool too. Well done, Randy!

  10. The border works wonderfully with the quilt center. Why not a blue binding? I think the clothes are pretty ugly actually. So glad you didn't purchase any! LOL

  13. The quilt turned out really nice Randy. I like the fact that you changed out the blue for the cheddar in the center. I too think the blue binding would look great.
