You are making 4 quarter square triangles, 2" fin
This is a scrappy block--you will need 16 half square triangles, 1-1/2" fin.
**Found this in one of Lori Smith's patterns
Hope you enjoy this week's installment! There will be a bonus block coming up with more hsts...so hold that thought.
Hope everyone is having a great week.
Love to you all,
Did you mean to release this today? It's okay with me, but I just thought it was coming tomorrow. I can use a head start!! : )ReplyDelete
Someone in Australia asked me to release them a little early since it's Wednesday there already! :-)Delete
OH. Me Too!!! Thanks!!!ReplyDelete
Randi, what size squares for the "battlegrounds" hsts? 2" before sewn and 1 1/2" finished??ReplyDelete
Julianne, I am trying to figure that out as well...must be tired this evening.Delete
The hsts finish at 1-1/2" so they are 2" unfinished. You always add 1/2" to include the seam allowances! Sorry that wasn't clear.Delete
Thank you! Of course it is clear not.....mind went totally blank!! :)Delete
* CLEAR NOW!!! Ugh...ever have one of those days :(Delete
Very nice selection this time! I'm going right down to the sewing room to see if I have enough hst sets made to do the Battlegrounds block right now.ReplyDelete
Love all three!ReplyDelete
Three great blocks. And a wee bit of a head start.ReplyDelete
Love them, and am so proud of myself for keeping up!ReplyDelete
Great blocks! Thanks Randy!ReplyDelete
That Union Square looks a little scary to me. Sometimes the pieces are just so tiny and I feel like my hands are huge when trying to put it together. But I am caught up and I look forward to trying these. I really am enjoying them. Thanks so much for doing this for us!ReplyDelete
Thanks for the new installment! I'm working hard to keep up!ReplyDelete
Thanks Randy,,,,,,,,,,,,thought i was going to miss my blocks,,,thats the only reason i was waiting for my internet to come back,,,,,,yeaaaaaa,,,,,,they look like they are going to be hard though,,,,,,ReplyDelete
I am enjoying the Sow-a-Long. Thanks for the wonderful blocks!ReplyDelete
Thanks Randy, I am all caught up. Would it be possible to provide a bit more instruction with the blocks? Sometimes I just need to know what to cut for the finished size of the squares,or hsts etc. I like the unfinished measurements..less chance of me messing up!ReplyDelete
