My North Carolina purchases

I exercised great restraint when we stopped at two quilt shops, one of which was the amazing Mary Jo's!!

I only bought a little while trying to focus on my 25-patch as well as one of the blocks I made at Bonnie's. Looking at them now, I wish I'd bought more!! Vbg

Then there is the Tula Pink fabric with racoon eyes!! Not sure what I'll do with it though.

I love what I got at Mary Jo's:

Now to sew something!!

  2. I think I am always trying to exercise restraint in fabric stores, and then I get home and lament not having purchased more. Isn't that part of being a quilter? : )

  4. Beautiful fabrics--with my fabric addiction--someone would have to do an intervention to save me from myself

  5. You did get very pretty fabrics. And I do admire your restraint. If you want to see a cute project with that Tula fabric, check out my friend Sara's website, sewsweetness.com She did a wallet (actually a pattern with a trio of wallets) using the raccoon and they are so cute.
